We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our maintenance team. The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in electrical systems, mechanical skills, and a strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Determine the maximum permissible wattage for circuits equipped with ampere breakers.  
  • Convey an adept understanding of the salient attributes characterizing Class 1 Division 1 electrical systems.  
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using a torque wrench, impact tools, and measurement equipment.  
  • Familiarize yourself with the portal and job locations within the shop for efficient operations.  
  • Demonstrate proper usage of hand tools for various maintenance tasks.  
  • Understand the second-party shipping process and assist as needed.  
  • Track and update the status of shipments to ensure timely delivery.  
  • Control spills and implement containment measures as necessary.  
  • Discern mechanical lubrication needs and identify appropriate fluid types for equipment.  
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area to promote a safe and organized environment. 

Who You Are: 

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in maintenance or related field required. 
  • Proficient understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.  
  • Ability to use torque wrenches, impact tools, and measurement equipment accurately.  
  • Familiarity with shop layout and job locations for efficient task completion.  
  • Proficiency in using hand tools for various maintenance tasks.  
  • Knowledge of shipping processes and procedures.  
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  
  • Ability to control spills and implement containment measures effectively.  
  • Understanding of mechanical lubrication needs and fluid types.  
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.  
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
